My waiter is black and I’m sitting here at Denny’s wishing I never came. He actually said to my young son “wassup lil man?” and I just a rage build inside me, I said we would need a few minutes to decide and I am debating simply leaving at this point.

My work paid for our team to go to lunch, and the only white guy there chose a “soul food” place (the only in a 25 mile radius) which has 2.5 stars on Google reviews because he is so “cultured” and for diversity and inclusion yadayada. Anyway we get there and there are literally flies everywhere, the place smells like pig shit from the chitterlings I guess, it’s totally dead and the hostess finally addresses our party of 13 awkwardly standing there, staring at our phones and gives us a table she promptly wipes clean of crumbs and stains that had probably been there from the previous weekend. We get our food and it’s chicken, waffles, greens, baked beans, etc yeah like okay just basic bitch southern food. It tastes bland as fuck and our bill was $700 and the cocksucker who sent us there made sure to inb4 by saying how valuable and important this “deep dive” into black culture has been for the team. I wanted to strangle him, but I left and got a mccrispy and a Coke Zero from mcdicks instead.

Fuck ethnic food and corpo bullshit you KNOW it sucked, you lying sack of trash human trying to make yourself look good for being non-racist by not saying the baked beans were bland in front of the boss
