Still pretty annoyed that the gov decided to tax pubs to fuck so that there's no point going there anymore. A single weak pint would cost barely less than 3 litres of strong cider from a corner shop. I drink about 25 units a night, a quick google showed a single shot is 1 unit and cost around £2.50, so my daily drinking habit would either cost £625 a day in shots at a pub, or a tenner for a bottle of vodka from the pakki shop. Nobody I know goes to the pub, the government is retroactively killing British pub culture. Fuck I may as well just make my own alcohol at this point.
