I know this is going to make me sound poor since they were both cheap (I do OK) but it is a toss up.

The ribs at the Slick Pig in Murfreesboro, TN are definitely the best I have ever eaten, and I eat a lot of ribs. pic related

The other was a place I stumbled on years ago when I was traveling along the Florida panhandle. I don't even remember the name of the place but it was a shack at the base of a pier on the coast. The owner fished for shrimp in the morning and would cook and serve it until he ran out that day. The only menu items were shrimp cooked in butter with or without garlic and lemon, coca cola, and regular Coors. It was easily the best shrimp I had ever tasted and was a partial factor in me eventually settling near a coast
