Nothing beats the Shin flavor powder. I can't even make a better stock from scratch.
As for dry noodles, I think Indomie hot and spicy taste a little better than Buldak, but the Indomie isn't spicy enough, and Buldak is a little more spicy than I like.

What are some other instant noodles I should try? My asian market has a pretty long noodle isle, but I have no idea what to get.
