Getting ready to dig in to a slice from my favorite deep dish place

Post your favorite style. For me it's the plain east coast style slice. Second favorite is the margherita followed by white slice with pesto.

How often do you eat pizza? For me it's once or twice a week. I have tons of options where I live so I like to try different spots to switch it up.

You have to taste it though. For a good NYC slice, it needs to meet the following criteria:
>The thin, hand-tossed dough has a nice char on the outside and soft, tender bite past the smoky exterior crunch.
>The sauce is magnificent, rich, complex and flavorful, with strong bright tomato flavor accented by subtle herbs.
>The fresh cheese is perfectly melted and spread thin enough to accent and not overpower the other ingredients. That's why the Iowa pizza looks like such shit to me, it's just slathered in cheese (probably has some cheddar in there, which is extra gross).
>It's a large, thin, wide slice that is best eaten folded in half.
>It shouldn't be more than $4 a slice and it's served hot and fresh rom the oven within minutes.

Living in NYC is kind of hell on earth, but pizza is one thing we definitely do right here.
