I won't lie, I own one dedicated to gyokuro, but I've used it a total of once. It's mostly that drinking highly concentrated gyokuro is not a way I enjoy drinking tea, you get so little for such a high cost. Sure it tastes great but it's kinda not something I even want to do more than like on Easter and Christmas to celebrate the major holidays.
Unglazed Tokoname Kyusu is decently versatile between sencha and gyokuro, its not going to get ruined as easily as a zhuni clay pot. It's not very porous, it will take flavor but it's not drastic enough that occasional gyokuro will ruin one. Shiboridashi is kind of a waste of money if you don't buy a lot of gyokuro and do tasting sessions with the high concentration brewing.
