Start drinking son. Seriously though, that chart is be a good place to start.

Good rules of thumb.
>Light flavored beers go with mild flavored dishes and deserts. Strong flavored beers go with strong dishes.
>Lighter colored beers are better tasting in summer/hot weather and darker beers in winter/cooler weather.
>Sweet beers are better with deserts, spicy food and dry cheeses, dry beers go better with heavy, cloying deserts, sweet/stinky cheeses and robust, flavorful dishes.

Ask me any questions you might have. I brew my own beer, cider and mead.

>Pic helps to describe the relationships of beers to each other.

Why?
No, seriously... I can't drink too much beer two days in a row, and if I get drunk from any spirit, there's at least a 4 day pause before I can get shots of any kind again.

When and why did you start this habit?

Picture very related.
Just reading this already shows that your already starting to begin appreciating the beer itself which is the first step to understanding it. Whether a person has a taste for rum, wine, or vodka we all have our own interests. Appreciating and understanding the differences in the drink is what separates the alcoholics to the educated. Just start off with trying to understand the basics between things such as a porter to an IPA. Start recognizing what you enjoy and go from there. I've had numerous beers i've loved and for the most part beers I just like with some disgusting ones also, but without trying everything you will never find what you truly enjoy.

I wanted to make some motherfucking aweosme farmhouse-style brown bread, however it's been ages since I've even tried to make bread.
Have you guys got any recipes or tips?
Recipes preferably using Metric/SI units.
