went to a japanese buffet recently and was seated next to the window which was covered in a thick black disgusting buildup of mold that was also building up on the carpet. the food sucked and i couldn't finish more than a couple of plates because i couldn't stop staring at the fucking mold. i looked around at everyone else sitting near the windows and seriously thought of getting up and asking if they're okay with eating next to this shit.

then i remembered: it's actually a chinese restaurant. it's owned and operated solely by chinese people and the only thing japanese about the place is the name and the fact that they have sushi. they even have a couple korean dishes for no reason. also the sushi bar absolutely reeks of mold too.

why do chinese people need to fulfill such a filthy stereotype? i have never been in a chinese-owned restaurant that didn't have at least several of these:
>outdated decor including fake wood paneling
>stained & drooping drop ceiling panels with those gaudy chinese lamps hung from them
>fake bamboo and potted plants everywhere seated in stones or styrofoam
>fucking dust, dirt buildup, and mold everywhere
>at least one hideous water tank/waterfall
>friends/relatives of the owners seated somewhere near you speaking loudly in Chinese
>a shitload of (possibly dead) sea creatures in dirty water tanks on display
>one single employee is a really old mad as fuck Chinese guy who mean mugs everyone and never speaks a single word
