Meat eaters can't ever see their hypocrisy because they're the majority. The only hypocrisy they "see" is a distorted view of reality caused by their delusions they use as a defense mechanism after having their habits challenged.

Sad fact. Going vegan is an unwanted lesson in human psychology for sure.

Not sure which method is more effective - disengaging their desire to be on the defensive by being very nice and not at all condescending and walking on egg shells with them, or being totally blunt and trying to shake them into reality. Sometimes neither work because they're just so stuck in their tunnel vision.
