I bought new gaskets for my moka pot so why do they have a sweet scent out of the package??? I wasn't planning on ever replacing the original gasket but it turns out a new one actually makes a significantly better brew. I got 2 extras and an extra metal filter, so how often should I be replacing these? And should I just get them off chinks on aliexpress instead of buying "official" ones?
