Im the one you are replying to, and this is no way the case at all, at least for me. The minute I decide to go out and get a drink, its going to trigger something in my brain and i'm going to relapse, and every relapse is worse than the last. I've tried quitting dozens of times, and every time I go back to it even a little, it turns out to be weeks of binging. Some people have to live 100 percent alcohol free.

Get yourself a 2 liter bottle of your favorite soda or juice (better if this is diet) and drink about 1/3 of it. Fill it back up with something strong (I always used everrclear) and just drink that all day long. Best if you are cruising around the block catcalling latino women.
