Cheddar Bay Biscuits

-4 cups baking mix (bisquick)
-1 1/3 cups water
-4 oz shredded sharp cheddar (1/4 pound) [roughly half a cup]

1. preheat oven to 375
2. Mix ingredients in a bowl, stir until firm
3. use ice cream scooper to form biscuits on tray
4. bake 10-12 minutes


Brushing
-1/4 cup butter (half stick)
-1/8 tsp of salt
-1/8 tsp garlic powder
-1/8 tsp onion powder
-1/2 tsp dried parsley
-black pepper

1. brush biscuits when they come out of oven

I mean like...it's alright but it's not the 10/10 everyone hypes it to be. Maybe I just haven't had it from a 95 year old grandma with biscuits made from lard and homemade sausage on a sunny spring morning on the patio next to the blooming azaleas (oh wait, I have). Biscuits with Golden Syrup is by far the more patrician choice.
