I love a grilled Norwegian mackerel. They're so oily that they taste buttery. You don't even have to season them if you don't want to. A little pinch of salt and you're good to go.

I like the crispy top layer the best. They have an easy to remove spine and maybe about 5 or 6 smaller bones in the fillet, but once those are pulled out, it's a BIG fleshy fish and it's so satisfying.
