They were pretty cozy.

Last time I had it was 2018. Dropped a friend off and there was one around the corner from his house. Ate half a chicken and a bunch of mac n cheese in their parking lot.

The one in my city closed down in the late aughts after my friend's impaired mother slammed a car into the restaurant. It re-opened as a McDonalds.

I once ordered an oyster omelet from a very traditional Chinese place, assuming it was an omelet served with oyster sauce at worst but more likely some kind of pancake served in oyster sauce with "omelet" being a bit of a cheeky mistranslation. Then when I picked it up and got home I realized the folly of my ways. It was an omelet with actual oysters cooked straight into it, served with some sauce on the side. I decided to give it a go, thinking hey, it couldn't be that bad, right?

At first it tasted fine, but every bite somehow got worse. Half-way through I had to stop because I started to genuinely gag. I was sweating like crazy, my face was pale. A few hours later I was shitting and vomiting nonstop, like continual streams out of both ends.

What MOTHERFUCKER thought cooking OYSTERS into and OMELET was a good idea? Fuck you. Fuck you. This is a real fucking dish from China and fuck you. Fuck whatever dumbass punkass motherfucker came up with that dish. Fuck you for giving me food poisoning. Fuck you for assuredly giving every motherfucker that ever tried this shit food poisoning. Fuck you in your ancestral grave.
