Virgil's root beer, cream soda, and cola are the best I've ever had. It's microbrewed but I doubt it is locally produced since I'm in Florida and very few good things if any come from here.
Give them a try OP, i've been ordering sodas online for years and haven't found anything better.

I don't drunk much soda anymore. I prefer iced tea or lemonade, especially if a restaurant offers it fresh made. Only time I get soda is at a pizza place with a self serve fountain. A well mixed fountain Coke runs circles around canned or bottled Coke.

For the occasional home consumption, I'll get Pepsi Throwback, it's the perfect accompaniment to lunch. Root beer is my personal favorite, and nothing tops Virgil's, in my opinion. Their other soda is top-tier as well. Once you have soda with natural cane sugar, it's hard to go back.
