I've only just started drinking Scottish Highland whisky, to be honest I am so new to it that I don't really know how to tell what is highland and what is coastal unless it is really obvious.

Example, some of the coastal ones have an extreme flavour, but then again some highland ones do as well.

Hopefully you understand what I mean by that.
