Kalakukko, literally fishrooster.
Think of it like shepherds pie but with thick, dark rye crust that is filled with vendace and fatty pork meat to get some fat and flavour and some salt to season it.

No other country than Finland has this, right?

A year ago or so, a store-bought fish pie forced me and my mum who I was visiting to visit the hospital the next day, we both felt awful. It was probably a bit undercooked. Not sure if I've ever had food poisoning besides that one time.

This thing called "fish cock" is a traditional dish in my region - basically it's fish and pork stuffed inside a rye bread that's baked for ~6 hours on low heat. It has pretty good nutritional values and tastes great, although I might be biased since I grew up eating this all the time.
