Why is white pasta so much more popular than whole weat brown pasta?

Brown pasta:
>muuch healtiher, lots of fiber and other micronutrients
>Same price

White pasta:
>Empty carbs

I switched to brown pasta and i couldnt be happier. Yes its a bit "harder" and the texture is more gritty but its still amazing
