Lol 8 mile isn't even the bad part. Its just a lot of businesses that cater to poor blacks. Not sure I'd want to walk down 8 mile by myself all night as a white guy but it's not what you see in the movies and pop culture. The dangerous parts of detroit are the blighted neighborhoods of houses. The surround the city center. Those are the areas where you ignore stop signs and traffic signals because you might get carjacked if you stop for too long. The police won't even bother you for doing so.

This is the detroit you would actually visit but it doesn't make for good clickbait so most people never see it
