OP, I currently live in Marquette, but I grew up around Detroit.
I have the best (and worst) of both peninsulas.
I have Coneys, Boston coolers, Faygo, Vernors, Bettermade, Towne Club, Andy Capp's and Slow's in the LP and delicious Finnish dishes in the UP. There's a shit ton of good seafood up here, too.
