For mild yellow mustard - and yes, there is a place for it in food - I would go with Plochman's or Heinz as my personal #1. Both are less obnoxiously vinegary than French's.

I don't think I've ever seen Heinz sold standalone, though, only as part of 3-pack with ketchup and sweet relish, which sucks because I hate sweet relish.
