Why does it seem like most people dont have enough water in their coffee? Whenever I try someone elses coffee it always tastes so groundy and heavy. The key ingredient to coffee is water.

I hate the taste of coffee and liquor but I want to expand my tastes and find things to drink besides water and sugar water. Tea is good but it can only do so much.

How long does it take to aquire a taste for this shit, and is there a good way of going about it?

i have a keurig machine, and i have re-usable k-cups that you can put coffee grinds it (thus its cheaper than normal k-cups) but it always tastes really flat and watery. i'm guessing its because the grinds aren't made for keurigs and thus a lot of the flavor is lost

i also have a mr. coffee, and that doens't seem to work well either. it always ends up tasting similarly bland...is there some kind of optimal ratio of coffee grinds to water?

just got one of these. trying to move on from shitty k-cups.
