by all means rations are more related to /ck/ than the posts about pooping we get
it's just cause the vast majority of the stuff is military, and I usually associate surplus military rations with /k/ innawoods doomsday preppers
i've had a few rations myself and it's an interesting experience, kinda on the fence if my experience felt more culinary or military

last one i had was a russian MRE that was only a few years out of date, got it off a sketchy website for only 10 usd free shipping, ordered along side a bar of soviet soap (1 dollar) and a milsurp russian bag with some of the sketchiest construction i've seen, mid-late soviet era stuff is just something else.
