my food misconception is that vegetables are good for you.

My grandfather died at 92 after a lifetime of only eating canned asparagus on thanksgiving and Christmas. The rest of the time was steak, liquor, eggs, and cigarrettes.

I'm fairly certain it was the asparagus that killed him because it was shortly after xmas.
