>yes, toxicity is a function of dose. however, the effects we associate with alcohol are a result of literally a mild case of alcohol poisoning. do people die from alcohol poisoning? some do, yeah. was anyone arguing that alcohol was extremely lethal? no. just that ethanol is, in fact, poison. so are many other things we enjoy doing in small doses. doesn't negate the fact that they are indeed poisons, though.
