The pan just lays there, its rage dissipating into heat and light to return to the hidden voids of the universe right in my little kitchen. The sizzling begins to quiet. Sure, I have to ease it out of the pan in just a minute, but we both know its over. Chaos lost today. Nature was tamed. Order prevailed, and human imagination triumphed. Method, precision, these were my weapons against the darkness of the cosmos. Atoms collide, molecules crash together, but its all in order. Alchemy has won the day. The elements, energy; it all had to yeild to order and method.

And now, I have over-easy dippy eggs. And the yolk on this toast is quite tasty.

Tyvm!

That sounds awesome. I just finished some meatballs and tuna salad. I admit I have simple tastes. My deli is very traditional in the local Pennsylvania sense. We are blessed with a lot of German and Polish foods, as well as Italian.

Ty for the kind words, I do appreciate them.

You work at a deli! You have no idea how much you brighten peoples day, making tasty food to get us through hard times, some rest and comfort, a chance to try something new.

Be blessed, hero. This thread is dedicated to all of you.

Customer service is so important and can make or break the relationship. Patience and courtesy is what we all live by.

Bless you too. You stand as heroes in this thread. You're the guys and girls that work to bring creativity, delicious salads and easy meals to the people. For someone like me with bad nerves in chaotic times, its practically medicine, and I am grateful. Thanks to you guys, I can relax a bit as I adjust to things. I get to rest a bit on grocery decisions and cooking, and I get to enjoy it at home. Thank you.

>but he thinks Red Lobster is fancy dinner eating out

Maybe, but my experience is that once you pass a certain price range, you're just over paying. Creativity and skilled experience in the kitchen deserves higher pay. But paying more doesnt mean youll get it or that someone wont muck it up. The experience should match the price, not equal out over averages and thats tough to pull off above a certain price point. Granted, ambiance matters too, but even that depends on hosting and service.

I appreciate fine dining, but know it can be its own meme. Youve probably been around to know what I mean and could rattle off some memories of places that were all hype. Every city has them. So I dont look down on people enjoying a fine time for less money. Its about the experience in total, I think. I've had bills that were a mere $60 where the experience was pitch perfect and dropped a few hundred at places where I wanted to punch the staff for incompetence.

Mileage varies, I guess. "Fine Dining" and eating out are different but both valuable things. A true market each, both set by demand.
