I saw a thread here the other day which inspired me to make runzas. It was tasty as fuck and I am thinking about adding it to the menu at my diner. with a little difference; Instead of stuffing it into a bread pocket I am going to bake it into a pie. I will call it a Nebraska Pie, because apparently this is a big thing in the great state of Nebraska and I want to give tribute where it is due. The ingredients would include:
>Hamburger meat
>Homemade sauerkraut
>Onions
>Garlic
>Various spices, I haven't nailed down the details on this yet
>Shredded cheddar cheese
All stuffed into a pie crust and baked to a piping hot perfection. Let me know what you think about this co/ck/s
