The thing that gets me is that it doesn't even make sense to do it. They only get a couple of fries, so they're not satisfied, they're taking from my food, so I'm not satisfied. It just makes sense to just get their own so we both have full portions. Respect other people's property, and that includes food.

People who cannot fathom a side dish that isn't fucking fries.
My parents have fries with every meal. EVERY meal. It doesn't matter what it is. They have a pizza? They have some fries. They have soup? They have fries. They have Subway? They go to McDonalds and get some fries. Its fucking baffling. They usually cook my dinner uninvited when I am at work so I tried to tell them I don't like fries. They went out and bought Potato Wedges and Curly Fries. In my moms words 'curly fries aren't fries just like springs ain't strings!'.

Also they have to be potato fries. I tried making them sweet potato fries as a treat once and they spat them out.

Are french fries healthy? Is it okay to eat them everyday? I heard potatoes have almost all essential nutrients but I'm not sure. I mean it's not like I would ever touch anything green that isn't on a burger or sandwich.

If you eat French Fries more often than with one meal per week you're an Ameritard.

Fuck French Fries. They are cultural food terrorism imposing bland side dishes on every restaurant and almost every cuisine.

It's got to be fried potatoes. Home fries, hash browns, french fries, tater tots, etc.

I'm indifferent about it. I like fried potatoes, but it's not something that I always plan to eat. It just happens sometimes. If you think about the number of meals that come with a side of potatoes, then it's really not that surprising.

Waffle House: hashbrowns
McDonalds: hashbrown patty and fries.
Wendy's: fries (one of the places you can sub for salad or chili or baked potato)
Burger King: fries and tater rounds (served for breakfast)
Chick-fil-A: waffle fries and tater rounds (ditto)
Sonic: fries, tater tots, chili cheese tater tots and fries, etc.
Rally's: god-tier seasoned fries
Popeye's: ditto
Dodge's and Chester's: tater logs a.k.a. JoJos

Then of course a bag of frozen fries at the store is $2 for 5 lbs. I've had my fair share of those.

I'm only scratching the surface.

>tl;dr I'm obese and have had a lot of fried potatoes.
