I think it's a common thing of indie (as in not a chain) Libanese places. We had a shawarma joint in town that would give you a family serving of meat, potatoes, rices and all that stuff for a regular size. I had to order a family sized meal once and I swear the whole fucking thing was 10 pounds. Store is closed now because the owner passed and his family didn't want to keep the place. It's a computer store now.
