Is it a joke or a strong and stable delicacy?

Give it a rest m8, our cuisine is an international laughing stock. But you know what, who cares? Personally I find French and Italian food overrated as fuck, too many boring cheese and meat dishes. If you're from a country renown for it's great cuisine, it basically means you're probably from a cuck country, whose inhabitants were sat at home comfort eating while countries like ours known for having bland food were out winning wars and colonising.

/ck/ workers, how likely would you be to mess with someone's food that complained, but were actually in the right?

For a long story short, I've never complained about anything, but last night, a restaurant I frequent with family and friends mischarged my split tab to someone else, then LOST my card, then after 30 minutes, found it, then insisted they couldn't charge me until my friend came back and re-ran his card or gave them his info over the phone. It was a 45 minute ordeal in which a manager never spoke to me, and I STILL got charged for the full check, and my friend got charged for the voided half.

Then I went to speak to a manager on my way out, and he explained that he was "fully aware of the situation and that honest mistakes happen" and explained there wasn't much he could do but apologize. Then he said "well, maybe I could call IT and get it removed, I guess... but you'd have to wait a really long time." I didn't flip out or anything because I've worked in customer service and no one wins from making a scene, but I told him I would be returning, and came home and wrote a letter to corporate.

Today, my parents went for lunch, and my GM approached them about the situation. She apologized profusely, already had a handwritten letter in hand with a $50 gift certificate, comped their lunch, and then promptly called me, offering to meet me for another free lunch and explaining she'd be having a sit-down with the night manager if I'd be willing to return.

The thing is, I'm worried this dude or the bartenders are going to spit in my food. I feel like I was courteous, but am I correct in my worries?
