La Palmas a mexican restaurant I was eating at before I was born. They closed in 2005 I personally ate there for 39 years. They were the bench mark for Tex Mex food. The owner had died, his son was not very interested in the business so when CVS offered him $7,000,000 for the property he took it. He supposedly was going to open a new restaurant but that never happened.

Now I go to Valle Luna which is almost exactly the same food.
