does anybody have a tried recipe for pancakes that actually taste good?

i've tried like four recipes now and they all taste like flour. even after increasing the butter and sugar.

I AM EATING..saurkraut, 3 semi scrambled eggs topped with swiss cheese, a baked potato and baked beans, with a slice of rye bread..and two red chilies.

i dont even know. i just felt like saurkraut for some reason.

Oh and before that i had two belgian waffles.. with grape jelly.

American here.

I actually don't a big breakfast often. Some days I'll just have toast or toast with a couple eggs. Maybe mixing it up with sausage if I have it. (not a fan of bacon) Sometimes I'll replace the toast with pancakes, seeing as maple syrup on pancakes and on sausage equals awesome. I rarely ever make hashbrowns.

I don't really make a huge ass breakfast (toast/eggs/Sausage or bacon/hasbrowns/pancakes or waffles) unless I'm feeding guests.
