This HAS to be bait. Using it another day is absolutely correct, but calling chicken fat "Tallow" is like calling chicken meat Beef.
If you don't like the long-noses, you don't have to call it schmaltz, but I don't think there's a word for chicken/goose fat in English.
I have NO IDEA why, since even Big Ben's clockwork was lubed up with it until sometime in the 19th century. It was said that the smell of the rancid fat would knock you back.

On topic: I have eaten canned ham--great in a pinch if you're hungry--otherwise, it's kinda a frankenmeat, glued together with SOMETHING.
DAK premium is the bestI've ever had(camping)
But during lockdowns I was surprised that the local Dolla Tre carried a pretty decent version.

Ok, I'm with you on that one. The ONLY time I'd seen that was in a weird greasy spoon in Bloomington, that has since shut down.
Mostly the preference is hubcap pork tenderloins.
