literally none of these are "universally regarded as good". I have never once, not ever seen any actual cajun dishes in any restaurant, nor had any desire to make them. I have no idea what wiz and shoefly are, I have literally never heard of them. Amish food, while comforting I'm sure is not "universally loved".

Are literally a british invention. The modern form of the sandwich, which represents arguably one of, if not the most eaten foodstuff on the planet, and certainly in the western world, is british. Simple, comforting, adaptable. Now, I will actually grant americans the burger as a constrast. It is technically very old, and from hamburg, and realistically a kind of sandwich, but I'm generous : modern americanised burgers are universally popular as well.
