So I was watching an old episode of Kitchen Nightmares (US) and Gordon gets into a fight with some smug prick over his lobsters.

Gordon says that one of the owners, who is advertising his lobsters as "Maine" lobsters, is actually selling Canadian lobsters (which are cheaper.) The owner argues that they are the same lobsters (same waters, same animal) so who gives a shit. Gordon argues that:

1. the lobsters don't have the same flavor
2. it's false advertising to call them "Maine" lobsters because they aren't "Maine" lobsters they are Canadian lobsters.

Who is right here? Is Gordon nitpicking? Is the owner a chubby lying sack of shit? I don't know enough about lobster to figure this one out.
