And yeah, growing up with "healthy choices" turned out to be a lot of bloviated marketing from my youth.
Ugh!

And bad science is just ...inexcusable.

All the relatives that I have who go off to some new-age health resort or ashram and come back with hippie-esque ideas about what I should be ingesting for my chakras to work drives me insane when I've got all these scientific journals for pharmacology and stuff (my father is a retired pharmacist but we still subscribe to the journals because they're interesting and relevant).
