Uh excuse me I can cook. I need to work on my baking though. All I can do now is cookies, biscuits, and pie crusts. I wanna do bread and pastries like doughnuts.

What a shit excuse. I have maintained my weight during corona. Maybe lost a couple lbs. You use the extra time to work out and count your calories. Also stop eating twinkies and shit. Learn to cook. Make biscuits instead

Ty. I want my ducks to have the best lives I can give them. Vegans think because I eat meat I am pro factory farming but desu if the animals life isn't peak aesthetic then the meat isn't gonna be peak flavor. The ducks serve a purpose alive as well as dead, they are excellent fertilizer's, their coop and pasture are always moving (except this winter the pasture will be stationary so they prep the soil for my garden expansion)

This is a weird day, it usually doesn't snow until next month, but I will be getting extra cozy, gathering my last veggies from my garden, and making my homemade fermented oat biscuits, maybe homemade hot cocoa for dessert tonight. Yesterday I made some bomb ass baked apples.

YAS this.
My mom was relatively trad but still somewhat poisoned by feminisim. She didn't have a job and stayed at home but she was lazy in the kitchen and with cleaning. I had to learn all my cooking skills as an adult, and I still have a long way to go. When I have kids they are going to learn how to cook, bake, smoke, pickle, ferment, clean, sew, mend, and care for livestock and crops. My man will teach them how to build and repair stuff and do business.

Currently I soak my oats in water in a cloth covered jar for a minimum 7 days. Idk why but I just like how everything develops and breaks down. I would reccomend no less than 3 days.
Biscuit recipe is :
-360 g flour of your choice (Im using cheap fortified white all purpose flour right now but I'm sure blanched almond flour or rye or heritage wheat flour would be good)
-12 g baking powder (you probably could sub for baking soda)
-3g salt
-60g sugar/granulated sweetener of choice, I would recommend 100% eurythrotol or a baking sweetener like swerve. Though i suppose the sweetener could be optional.
Mix dry ingredients then add
-90 g cold butter from the fridge. I like to cut them into little cubes before I put them in the mix
Then I break down the butter until they are all pea sized. I use my hand but maybe a biscuit cutter would work. Hands always work best for me, lol
-240 g of the aged and cooked fermeted oats.
-100 g whole milk
Fold and press dry and wet ingredients together until combined. Lay 1 inch thick on surface and cut with a biscuit cutter or a jar.
Place on greased pyrex pan or cast iron skillet, bake in oven for 12-15 minutes.
Allow to cool 5-10 minutes before eating
Enjoy !!!(pic related)
