It's kind of hard to talk about the relative pedestrian-friendliness of different areas without getting into what "pedestrian unfriendly" means, and from there it's a short hop to "nigger nigger nigger, you should just restrict your apparel to a set of choices that some white person has not declared "off limits to your kind" and then you too can go home from the bar without being arbitrarily harassed by law enforcement.

Pic related, it's where I live now. Needless to say, pedestrians are not viewed as a sign of some kind of impending danger here, walking home from the bar is the default option.
