The worst I've ever seen someone fuck something up was tea. How do you fuck up tea you ask?

My best friend decided to make a pot at my house while I was asleep. He took my clearly electric tea kettle, off of it's plug in base, and put it on the stove full burn. I woke to foul black smoke and a disintegrated kettle fused to the stove. The stench of burning plastic lingered for weeks and needless to say I could never fully remove the plastic

On the plus side, when I lifted the kettle from the stove the plastic bottom lifted away from the top in a perfect jagged ring of melted plastic. The thorny circlet became known as "the crown of shame" and anyone who colossally fucked up was made to wear it. My friend had to wear it the most, because as you can imagine, he was prone to doing stupid shit. Tragically one day a different friend threw it out when we were on a trip together because she didn't know what the fuck this strange, burned, painful, monstrosity was. I miss it all the time.
