Legal immigration good, illegal bad! The arbitrary number set by a party intent on buying new voters with handouts while also importing cheap labour for their corporate consituency and creating artificial, pyramid-scheme type economic growth to keep their shitty economic model huffing along is magically the right amount of people to be importing.
What do you mean immigrants are overrepresented in crime and welfare-taking, largely underperform academically and outbreed thus displacing the host population while rejecting their values and cultures? Why do you know these hatefacts? You want another holocaust or something?

Nevermind the uneducated bigots who are forced to live around and compete with the brown masses. My immigrant friend is nicer than a lot of natives!

My grandmother was always the entire driving force for thanksgiving. I hated her stuffing, but helped her make it every year for over a decade. At 25, and a single man I have no family to bring to the table. Sister is about the same age, same problem. Extended family has dwindled, mostly just died off - no new kids from anybody,
Now the other real issue is that my mother was one of those boomer kids, who didnt need to cook. She partied. I quite literally am more prepared to do the thanksgiving shabang over her, along with my now dead grandmother's recipes. Ive thought about it but Im scared of there being a weak turnout - or looking pathetic for being a single 25 year old man making thanksgiving dinner for my family...

I dunno I was going to post something but decided to think it through.

My mom has always been a mediocre cook. Even her signature recipes are very basic and while good, and all just good. Nothing outstanding that Id ever look forward to.

Honestly growing up I dont remember liking anything my mom cooked, her meatloaf was good? I havent had that in so many years. It was all too simple and even now she makes all food infinitely bland. The last thing she cooked was baked unbreaded chicken in pizza sauce. Not joking. No seasoning still managed to dry it out (And I prefer chicken drier than most would)

Ate it and said it was good but it was dry gross chicken and it hurt to do it. Served with canned corn and boxed au gratin. I could have literally homemmade a potato dish right then and there instead. Maybe made some casserole for the corn I dunno, its just such a disappointment.

Then i have to do all the dishes she leaves to 'soak' before I can cook the next day.... I hate living at home.

Grapefruit has traditionally been my go to food for when i am feeling down.

I bit into a fresh one, or take a huge chug of pure juice and am struck with such disgust that my bad feelings go away and I am thankful for the good things in life.
