Ever since I started drinking beer (only three months), I have been making it a point to stay away from all IPAs because of how bitter they supposedly are. I remember one of my first beers being a dragons milk imperial stout, and I was disgusted by it at first, and didn't touch the remaining 3 bottles until two months later.

After trying many beers, I figured what the hell, I'll give it another go. Obviously it tasted different than before, and I actually enjoyed it.

So I bought pic related to try. It really wasn't as bitter as I was led to believe. I actually kinda enjoyed the way it tasted, but the aftertaste was kinda odd.
