Everything about it looks and feels cheap. I'm not a snob and I'm definitely not rich either, but most of the stuff I bought there (from canned food to fruit and baked stuff) tastes... cheap (to put it plainly) and bland.

When it comes to German supermarkets I prefer Kaufland, it's a good mix of it's own brand items that a re both cheap and good quality. The strange thing about it is that every country I've been to (from Bulgaria to the Czech Republic) the stores are very spacious, nicely lit and with a really nice selection of goods. But when I visited it in Germany, it was really shitty and dingy, with very cramped aisles and very few options. very disappointed.
