My local Chinese place always has a whole side of baked salmon on their buffet. It's farm raised no doubt, but it's really good.

I always follow the advice from whatshisname??? and get only meat. fish, shrimp, beef, chicken, pork ribs. SOOOOOO YUMMY!!!
Of course I'm in the south so every Chinese buffet has a 'southern' section lol.

Yikes. Favorite meal. I love the food of the American south. I"m from MS so I sit between the bbq of Memphis and the cajun-creole cuisine of New Orleans. It's all pretty tasty.

I impulse bought a pound of crawfish today. Wtf do I do with them? I was looking at a crawfish potato soup (http://allrecipes.com/recipe/83693/crawfish-potato-soup/?internalSource=recipe%20hub&referringId=15869&referringContentType=recipe%20hub)) But I have never worked with crawdads before. Do I just throw them in whole? Should I try to shell them, or take their little heads off? Halp.

I spent the summer at my parents house and now that the semester has started I'm back at my university.
I've never understood until now how terrible a cook my mom is. She was fucking amazed at what I could do in the kitchen just from watching the food network.
Does anyone else have a mom or parents who is a terrible cook?
