Old Forester is pretty good. Finished a bottle of the 1920 and that was really good. So then I got a bottle of the 1910. Meh. I'm struggling to get thru it. Tastes like s'mores. But if you burned the Marshmello. Like straight up blackened set it on fire. Not so much for me. I'll stick with the regular 100 proof or 1910 versions which are excellent.

Another solid pick is benchmark, they're really all nice and not hyped to fuck so reasonable prices still.

Going thru the michters lineup now, and on the us#1 rn. Good, sold bourbon, I like it. Does all the bourbon things. Their American whiskey is pretty dang good too. I killed a bottle of that in very short order. Very easy drinker, like honey buns. Not exactly complex or novel or outstanding, just a solid easy drinker. Maybe too easy. Michters is probably $20 or so more expensive than it should be tho. You could do much worse.
