They do these in the UK. The dough hasn't been cooked, which means that it rises when you cook it yourself. Makes for a very fluffy and light base, which I like. Though usually I'd prefer a crispy base, I think this is good in it's own right.

Plus stuffing the crust with sauce rather than cheese is a game changer imo
