It literally says nothing about animal products in that entire article. It just says that vitamin A absorption varies depending on what plant source it comes from.

Come on bruh, there isn't a single reference in there related to animal sources of vitamin A.

Because it prevents moisture from penetrating when you're not cooking, keeping away the early stages of rust. If your pan starts to rust, then it will leach iron more readily when you cook.
