idk. I worked at a couple coffee shops and the most common order was coffee. It was always black because we had a station for condiments and milks. We would typically ask if the customer wanted room for cream and that's it.

It was always my favorite thing someone would order since it would take 2 seconds to make and would move the line quickly. Ordering coffee in America doesn't make you look edgy or like a loser, it just makes you another face in the crowd as far as coffeeshops go. No complains here.
