Okay /ck/, please hear me out on this.

We can all agree that pancakes are a cake right? They're made of flour, eggs, and milk. So super classic cake stuff. HOWEVER, you know what else is made of flour and milk? Your basic white sauce. But that's not all, Carbonara sauce is made of milk and eggs. So pancake batter is just a combination of a white sauce and Carbonara, but instead of savory seasonings, it has sweet seasonings. But not necessarily, if you're making crepes, you can easily make savory crepes with all the ingredients you would use for white sauce and Carbonara. You'd fry it in butter, and add the Pancake batter, which consists of milk, eggs, flour, salt, and pepper. Then you could top it with cheese and pancetta.

So now that we have established that pancakes and crepes are just fully thickened sauces while also being cakes, thus, we are lead to a startling conclusion. Cakes are just overcooked sauces. There's absolutely 0 way to prove me wrong on this.
