I knew someone that knew a mycologist that ended up dying DURING a foraging class he was teaching because he identified the shroom he ate incorrectly. This story has always scared me. I want to get into foraging but I can’t shake that fear. Is that story bullshit? Can you really 100% know what you are eating if you are experienced?

The last time I was at ikea I was on a major xanax bender and don’t remember a single thing about it. A few days later my wife said I was banging the cart into stuff and my food was sliding all over the place on my tray when I was walking with it. Feels bad.
