Don't want to create a thread for one question so I thought I'd ask you fine lads.
I want to make a chicken potato casserole type thing. Basically a layer of peeled and cut potatoes on the bottom with marinated chicken thighs and broccoli on top.

My question is, can I just pour the chicken with the marinade into the baking dish?
I like the marinade and was hoping it would help to flavor the potatoes/etc.
I've read though that the marinade is contaminated and if I want to use it, i should boil it.
